 Virgil started playing the drums 50+ yrs. ago. He has had the honor of playing at the great State of Oklahoma's Capital, and has had the pleasure of opening shows for such greats as Leon Russell, Edgar Winter, Leslie West, Elvin Bishop, Albert King, Bobby Rush, Vern Gosdin, and even recorded one of the last versions of "Milk Cow Blues" with the late great “Leon McAuliffe” from the famous “Bob Wills and The Texas Playboys.” Most of which while playing for the late great “Flash Terry & The Uptown Blues Band,” better known to his friends as Verbie Gene (Flash) Terry a native bluesman of Oklahoma. Virgil has traveled across the U.S. entertaining for most of his life.
